Connecting With Others Brings Joy
Nothing can truly compare to organically connecting with people. Being face to face. Making eye contact. Smiling. Saying, "Hi." Shaking hands. Sharing a hug. Sharing stories. These connections are priceless and bring us joy.
These days we are so attached to our phones and laptops that we forget to connect. It's no wonder we feel so alone sometimes.
Try something new and different. Put your phone down. Look up. Smile. Acknowledge and appreciate someone. They may look at you like you have 3 heads. Or they may smile back and say hello. You will never know until you try. But you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Keep trying. When your smile is returned, it will help you feel connected.
Connecting with people online is nice
but organically connecting to people face to face
brings true joy.
Let's make an effort to organically connect!
