Surrender Control & Ask for Guidance.

If you are anything like I was just a few months ago, you are shaking your head right now in disagreement. This is my new mantra. And it has helped me so much!

I am done being the stressed-out, over-achieving perfectionist I have been in the past. Those attributes have not served me well.

I am now taking more self-care breaks during the day. I am closing my eyes, taking a deep breath, and saying, "I Surrender Control and Ask for Guidance."

Since I started using this mantra just a few weeks ago,

I am open to new opportunities and possibilities.

I am more relaxed and able to stay in the moment (No more beating myself up about the past or having anxiety about the future.) .

I am more confident. (I have embraced my walker "D.I.V.A." and I am not ashamed to walk with her.)

I am more positive. (I know I do not have control over what happens to me but I absolutely have control over how I deal with these situations.)

I am more patient. (When I get slowed down, I take it as a sign that I need to walk away from what I am doing and take a break.)

I am freeing myself from old beliefs, fears and self-doubts. (I have realized that I have inherited most of these from my youth but this is another video for another time.)

If I can Surrender Control & Ask for Guidance, you can too.

It is incredibly freeing.
