How to Re-Claim Our Lives
How do we re-claim our lives? First and foremost, we need to understand how we lost part of ourselves to begin with. We have been so programmed to put everyone else first that we have forgotten how to take care of us. By giving and giving and giving, our reserves are depleted.
When we don't have anything left to give, we become very negative. We get lost in the drama around us. And we forget how truly special we are.
In order to stop the madness, we need to focus on us!
The 1st step in re-claiming our lives is to be aware that there is an issue. If you feel depleted and negative about things, look inside yourself. When is the last time you took care of you? When is the last time you acknowledged and appreciated yourself?
The 2nd step in re-claiming our lives is to take action.
Try something new and be selfish.
Take a self-care break.
Take a personal day.
Do something special for you.
Build yourself back up.
No one knows what you need more than you do.
Take care of you!
