Celebrating 25 Years with MS

On October 28th, 25 years ago, I was sitting in the neurologist's office waiting to hear if I had an in-operable brain tumor or Multiple Sclerosis. I was sad and angry when she said I had MS but I was thrilled and overjoyed that it wasn't going to limit my life span. When I look back now at 25 years with MS, I have had to make some modifications and adjustments but I am still the same feisty person I have always been. I may not be able to walk on a balance beam, roller skate, climb a tree or ride a bike anymore but I'm OK with that. The true test for me is to see if I can still hula hoop. Check me out. Ha,ha.
